Torah Portion Ki Tisa
Exodus 30:11 – 34:35
This year we will be going through the Torah portion cycle looking for themes which occur in each Torah portion that recurs throughout the rest of Scripture with a special focus on connecting them to the Apostolic Writings (New Testament).
In Ki Tisa, we will investigate how the episode of the golden calf sets the precedent for Israel’s idolatry and its effects on Israel when she is in rebellion. As Psalm 115:8 says, “Those who make [idols will become like them; Everyone who trusts in them.”
